Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how O&A Industries ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the CounselHall website and study materials (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: the email address and password you provide when you create an account.
- Usage and progress data: records of cases you open, answers you submit, and practice results, used to power features like your dashboard and progress tracking.
- Payment information: when you purchase a plan, payment is handled by our third-party payment processor. We receive limited transaction details (such as confirmation of payment and plan tier) but do not collect or store your full payment card number.
- Technical data: standard information your browser sends, such as device and browser type and general usage logs, used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- authenticate you and manage your account and entitlements;
- process purchases and manage subscriptions;
- track your study progress and display analytics to you;
- communicate with you about your account or the Service; and
- protect against fraud, abuse, and security issues, and comply with law.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service — such as our hosting and database provider and our payment processor — and only as needed for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
4. Service Providers
The Service relies on third-party infrastructure, including a cloud hosting platform, an authentication and database provider, and a payment processor. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and usage information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account as described below.
6. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You may access or update your account information, or request that we delete your account and associated personal data, by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your information, or to object to certain processing. We will honor such requests as required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for adults (18 and older) and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International Users
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the date above when we do, and provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
